PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA DURATION (YEARS)
B.Ed Graduation or Post Graduation with atleast 50% marks (for SC/ST 47.50%) 2Yrs.
M.Ed B.Ed with atleast 50% marks 2Yrs.
D.Ed 10+2 with atleast 50% marks or graduation with 45% marks in aggregate 2Yrs.
B.P.Ed
  1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the inter-College/Inter-Zonal/ District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
    2. Or
  2. Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with 45% marks.
  3. Bachelor's degree in any’ discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as compulsory elective subject
    4. Or
  4. Bachelor's degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/ Inter University/State Competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SFGI/Govt. of India.
    5. Or
  5. Bachelor's degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd of 3rd position in National/Inter-University Competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
    6. or
  6. Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches).
    7. Or
  7. The relexation in the percentage of marks in the quilifiying examination and in the reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC and others categories shall be as per the rules of the central Government/State Government, whichever is applicable.
